Rory, our 2.5 year old blue tick coonhound mix, has been such a giant pain in the butt since he was a pup. Tearing up everything, snagging items from counter tops and tables (especially paper products). He began to show signs of aggression toward strangers, but even toward me and our kids and I was really worried we would have to re-home him. Honestly I was devastated. I talked with Cathy and Reid and they not only gave us solid advice, but after just one meeting at their location (and lots of consistent work at home) Rory’s behavior has changed immensely. The key for our situation was teaching US, the humans, what to do. We are so grateful.
Sounds extreme but Reid has not only helped our 2 Labs but also helped both of us. The training is based on “calm” and in our day to day life, we tend to forget to be calm. We have had many dogs that we consider our family members and been to a few trainers over the years. We have never found anyone like Reid and Dog’s Best Friend Training.. They are definitely the best and we won’t go anywhere else.
