At what age, and how often should I train my dog?
We hear this a lot!
And this is always our response…
At what age, and how often did you start training your kids?
At what age and how often do you parent them?
It’s constant, right?
Every day. Every second.
Our kids are learning all the time…at home, at school, at grandmas, at the store, at the mall, in the car, on vacation,
…you get the drift!
Why do our dogs deserve less?
Learning how to sit and stay is only a small portion of actually teaching a dog how to behave, and I mean a very small portion.
The day to day living is the hard part, and the most important. Sit and stay won’t help you out when your dog is distracted or decides not to listen anymore.
Teaching should never stop, and when we are not actively teaching good habits, we very well may be teaching bad ones.
